The Queen Elizabeth II Hotel, the former Cunard Line flagship docked in Port Rashid, Dubai has announced its festive offerings for Christmas and New Year.
The floating hotel will be hosting a range of Christmas-themed events, from the traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony at the stern where the ship’s main pool used to be, to be a series of festive Afternoon Teas in the Queen’s Grill restaurant throughout December, and a spectacular New Year gala dinner.
On Christmas Day itself there will also be a traditional lunch on offer, at both the Lido restaurant (the ship’s former buffet), and at the Queen’s Grill (the former First Class dining room).
For those attending the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner in the Queen’s Room, there will also be an after-party at the ship’s Yacht Club above the Lido, offering sweeping views of the Dubai skyline and the Burj Al Arab fireworks.

Join in the cherished festive tradition, where the evening unfolds with the renowned Dubai Singers, who will enthrall guests with a selection of traditional Christmas carols. Santa Claus, himself, will be making a special detour from the North Pole to greet all the families present.
