
The Orlando Magic Summer Tour in Germany made its first-ever stop on a cruise ship, marking the highlight of the AIDA Basketball Summer 2026. One week before the start of the FIBA Women's World Cup in Berlin, two brands—AIDA Cruises and Kellogg's—sent a strong message in support of basketball in Germany: At the AIDA Basketball Day on the AIDAperla on Saturday, August 29, 2026, fans, partners, influencers, and national and international basketball personalities gathered in the Port of Hamburg.
The event marked the highlight of the AIDA Basketball Summer 2026 and was also part of the Orlando Magic Summer Tour, which made its first-ever stop on a cruise ship. The AIDA Basketball Summer 2026 includes, among other things, partnerships with the FIBA Women's World Cup in Berlin, basketball camps on board with players and coaches from the ROSTOCK SEAWOLVES, and numerous interactive activities for guests and fans. With Basketball Day, AIDA combines sports, travel, and entertainment in a unique event format.
