
Global Ports Holding (GPH), the world's largest cruise port operator, is pleased to announce the network-wide launch of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme across 35 cruise ports in its global network, further strengthening the Group's commitment to accessibility, inclusion and passenger experience. With over 22 million cruise passengers travelling through its ports annually, GPH places accessibility, inclusion and passenger experience at the centre of its terminal operations.
As part of the programme, teams across the network have received dedicated training to recognise the Sunflower symbol and better understand how to support guests with a wide range of non-visible disabilities and conditions. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is globally recognised and helps people with non-visible disabilities, conditions or chronic illnesses voluntarily and discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, understanding or support. The Sunflower is recognised in more than 95 countries and is used by organisations across the travel, tourism, transport, retail and public sectors worldwide.
